The times I've been to BM I've been less annoyed by people taking pictures of me than the self-annointed cops running around screaming at people who have cameras. I've had strangers yell at me for taking pictures OF MY OWN FRIENDS because I was "not being a participant" or something.
Seriously, if you are so cool and uninhibited to show your tits in front of 50,000 people, you should be able to handle some cameras as well. It's not like every single one of them is going to go home and masturbate over your twin towers. A lot of people just want to record their freaking vacation. Or make art (I noticed some professional-looking cameras). etc. CT is one of the major events at BM, like the burning of the man itself. Of course people are going to bring their cameras.

Mon, July 14, 2008 - 6:56 AMThe problem Dee is that none of you own your pictures. They belong to BMinc. Also, unless you bought a press pass, they were taken illegally and they have the right to cease & dissist of you post your pictures or use them in anyway that they find out about.
Photography is allowed only with expressed permission of BMorg and anyone violating this is subject to prosecution to the fullest extent of the law, including going to prison.
Everything you see at BM ultimately belongs to BMinc. Legally. All you see, all you smell, they own it. Try to tell them otherwise. All rights to anything are surrendered as part of agreement upon entry.
